    What say yee.................

I have been doing some on-line research. It seems that the most popular upgrade for E30 is an engine swap. What is the E30 community opinion? How much should a good swap cost? What shops would you recommend? Your choices of engine M50, S52, S50, etc. If you can, show pics of your swap with specs.

I think probably the easiest option for an engine swap is a Viper V10, or possibly the Hayabusa V8 engine.

Or you could scroll down the index page a bit and view the multiple separate forums regarding different engine swaps.

I saw those forums. I was trying to get a clue on why you chose that swap and at what cost. Who did the swap? Are you happy with your choice of engine? etc. I am thinking of swapping my auto tragic vert and I am getting opinions.

My M20 was installed by trained BMW assemblers in Germany. It was engineered for my car by the best engineers at BMW. All in all, I don't think I could do better than a bunch of German engineers with a helluva lot more experience building cars than me.

                          ....yeah....M20.....yeah....
