BMW V8's are FUN, too. I drove a 650i a couple of years ago...

    style 5 are 2 piece BTW. ;)
I just love that V8 music, but boost is really the only thing that could get the V8 into STi grounds. And thanks for the correction, don't know what I was smoking xD

To the other guy that mention the up keep involved with the m60. I was talking with my friend Denis(Dude8383) and I am now searching for a m10 318 for the shell. So I guess it all lays on what the car is housing. I will find out in two days.

    go newer- s54
    go euro- s50b32
    go BIG- s62

boost is so cool. m60 is great but it barley makes 300hp. the real question is money.
how much of it are you will to spend? that will determine the best option
I have the means to get it done, I can fab and weld everything in house. So it all boils down to what will make better power. I am leaning more at the M50 FI because boost is amazing and when done right will shit all over everything.

To the guy on page one that mentioned about me being the type of guy never happy with less....you are right. I am building this to shit on the STi kids at the SCCA events. I am searching for 325-350HP and I really only see that happening with the M50. I just LOVE the sound of the V8. I also come from a family that only owns American muscle(kinda in my blood).

when I think M60, I think chains. lots of them. M50 seems like an easier engine maint-wise.
