Just curious... are they built as good as the cars? Are they as reliable/fun? Or are they completly sepparate?

I hear from a guy who owns a repair shop here in town for the last 30yrs, that the engines are solid and will run forever it is everything else that will break, I told him I wanted to get one and he suggested I get a Moto Guzzi instead as they are made by hand, and last forever, Of course I want a r100s from the 70's and so he thought the Guzzi would be better as far as matienance costs and ability to work on yourself,E30 325ix 62k -

Not a newer one. I think that he was referring to a bike from the 70's as far as maintenace costs. Any bike with a driveshaft is cool as hell with me.Comment
