r3ved my car in a donut

so i decided to do some donuts in a parking lot in agora hills, i didnt choose a good spot because i ended up driving onto a curb really hard, extremely lucky that nothing happend to my oil pan but my steering rack cracked and ps fluid came leaking everywhere, also a belt is loose and something is hanging, i think its the PS pump and belt, but now theres a crack in my steering rack, alignment is off too...r3ved :(

Maybe, just maybe, you'll learn something from this.

But, like most others who R3V their cars, you probably won't.

Enjoy putting a new rack in, getting an alignment, probably replacign warped rims, and other fun repairs. Was it worth it?

Yeah, actually it was worth it, saved all the hardwork of disconnected my power steering and now I'll be forced to upgrade to a better steering rack.

lol. Prepare for some flaming. This is R3v, remember.

Hope it's not your daily driver - I wouldn't be driving around in the condition it's in.

Upgrades are nice, but if your mom has to drive you to the movies because you fucked up your only car smoking your tires in a mall parking lot, you aren't gonna be getting a whole lot of ass.

But hey, at least you fucked up a stock rack - what if you had already upgraded and then R3V'ed? ;)

Yeah I know its r3v, if you wanna flame me go fuck yourself, I crashed my car, its my fault, im gonna fix it, just sharing my story.

It's my daily driver, what condition is it in? Power steering pump is hanging, i'll just disconnected it, I don't know about the crack in the rack though, what can that do?

I'd rather stay home and order parts fix my car then go out without a car.

And if I had already upgraded? Eh, dunno.

I'm not flaming you. Just saying that you will indeed be flamed.

As for driving with a cracked rack - I sure as hell wouldn't do it. Brakes and steering are two things I don't fuck around with.

Do dougnuts in the middle of the parking lot. Best bet.

                  Sold it.

i got sideways (like pointed hardcor3 to the curb) right in front of 3-4 police units yesterday. didn't notice them, and they didn't notice me. wasn't a big deal, they were helping a chick who did the same thing in her silverado (except she ended up in a retaining wall).

Yeah.. don't fuck with steering... the rack isn't meant to operate without fluid in it (power steering or not).

Metal-on-metal action + heat from the engine + dirt potentially coming into the crack = good recipe for a unique R3V that you don't want to have.
