    Thanks man!
So, from this post I gather that at this point in their lives, e30's will require a lot of repair!!

Not necessarily, I drive mine like I stole it everyday so it is going to shit it self all the time. If you only drive on the weekend or are pretty nice with it will last you a very long time. Just try and buy one that has had regular maintenance, that is where I went wrong. I live in Australia so the 318is very rare and to find one in white with no sunroof and no electric windows is hard so I jumped on it when I probably shouldn't have.

Parts are generally good price as well from places like www.Blunttech.com, www.pelicanparts.com and and you can find shecmatics on www.realoem.com. Personally I would go for it and get one, I have driven e36's, e46's, E90's, E82's, honda integras, and alot of other cars, but no matter what I always want to have my E30 for fun, it may not be the most fastest car, but for some reason everyday when I drive it I have a smile on my face even in a traffic jam. That just brought a tear to my eye LOL.

One year ago I did not even know what a head gasket was, now I own an e30 and have fixed several things without too much pain, it still sucks sometimes but it's kind of worth it because you learn a lot. Just get it inspected before you buy one so you have a good idea what may need to be addressed if you're still a noob.
