    H&R race clearance in 318is

For some stupid reason I can not find what I am looking for so maybe you guys can help me out. I want to know what the oil pan clearance is on a 318is with billie sports and h&r race on a 16" rim if you could also tell me you tire size and weather you have spring pads so I can calculate what I can expect in my car.

    Cheers.

whats your problem? My old setup was just that and it was super high you will never hit pan unless you try jumping speed bumps. Now if your rallying or doing something like that, then I would go with a skid plate. I had some nasty 17s with like 35 or 40 sidewalls. Wheels fit nice but never an issue. My car flush on 16x9s will probably never hit pan but then again i have really high spring rates.

My problem is here in the great country of Australia cops like to look at two things your Tail Pipe and how low your car is. If the lowest part of you car is lower then 100mm then you get done.

But there is a way around this according to ADR anything within 100mm off set from you tyres in elevation view can be as low as you like but it needs to be cleared by a charted engineer. So I just want to know how low it will be so I can organise an engineer if need be.

      Cheers

Well one I have to get a plate welded on the thread so to stop me from lowering it more then 100mm and I already have the parts on there way.
