spraying tranny fluid all over road and exhaust

i have an 84 318i and drove it home today and was followed by a thin trail of tranny fluid. i looked under car and it looks like a small leak under the rad that was under pressure and spraying tranny fluid all over the exhaust and road. is there a drain plug in the oil cooling unit under the rad ? i cant get to it yet so i cant see but i am wondering where it may be leaking from?

I am assuming it is an automatic. If so there are hard lines that run from the tranny to the radiator for the automatic transmission fluid to be cooled. check the lines.

      hard lines.

sounds good, so there is no drian plug or anything in these lines? i was hoping it was just a plug leak. if it is a line, how hard is replacement of these?
