so i got in my car today, turned it on, and it was cold in the car....so i turned the heater on full blast. one of the heater vents was drying my contacts out so i closed it. all of a sudden there was a pop and white-ish smoke/dust came out of the vent and then the heater began to buzz/click really fast so i turned the heater off. what broke ?

yup. the blower motor vanes have kinda spindly supports, and if they ingest something they could possibly break and then come in contact with the housing. The smoke looking stuff was probably just dust in the ducts, because e30's don't have filters.Comment
