One hell of an annoying problem suspension related.

I hate to post this in two places on the same forum but I need to get this sorted out ASAP.

I just finished installing the strut on the passenger side, and am now working on the drivers side. Reinstalling them after replacing the stock drop hats with the drop hats provided by blunt tech. The passenger side went in without a hitch. However, on the drivers side, once you loosely install the top nuts in the engine bay, and place the knuckle on the lower ball joint, then tighten down the top nuts, my problem happens. The strut housing will rotate with no problem from, straight ahead to the left or drivers side. Rotating the housing to the right as in a right turn it seems to get locked, and cannot go any further.

Please someone, anyone, help me. I have to get this figured out so I can drive it down to g-fest on the 22nd.

Edit: also when it feels like it is binding, if you look into the engine bay, the outer side of the rubber portion of the upper strut mount flexes down.

Cant really understand your issue but it sounds like your drop hat is hitting the inside of your strut tower, a common issue with drop hats. Make sure to get it solved before driving it.
