    Headliner question....

My headliner on the M3 is sagging badly up front. Can it be repaired or does it need to be replaced? If so, where are some cool places to get some suede headliners or alcantara? I dont mind the regular one if it can be repaired but why not upgrade if it needs to be replaced. The interior of my car is probably the one area where it is pretty close to stock-looking because they are all factory parts (E3 wheel, illuminated shift knob, with the nice custom shift boot and e-brake boot/handle being alcantara and stitched with ///M colors, seats, authentic ACS pedals) and thats pretty much it besides the gauges.

I think Jean has replaced his and I feel like the interior subforum would suit you better.

I'm pretty sure Tricked_323i makes some really nice ones, exactly what you are looking for. I doubt that they are cheap though. Affordable? Possibly. But cheap? not a chance.

It's a PAIN, probably 2nd worse job on the e30. All of the glass has to come out to do a CLEAN and PROPER job. Some leave the front glass in place, but the headliner does go all the way to the front and under the front glass.

Tricked323i is the person you want to contact for a custom one :)

If you tackle it yourself, when its out, if its like my Ti's you can use brake cleaner or if its bad, gasket remover, to clean up the glue.

I have one of Kevin's (Tricked323i) headliners in black alcantera. There are pictures in my build thread somewhere. Like Jean says, I pulled out ALL the glass but I was preparing to paint the car. That said, Kevin's work is pretty nice.
