    Were these ever fitted to Alpina e30's??



    I've seen them before but the question is, are they genuine and were they fitted to Alpina cars?

    Not genuine. That is a stock M20 valve cover, machined down with the Alpina lettering in place of the fins and BMW lettering.

    As far as I know, Alpina never actually made their own valve covers. And someone correct me if I'm wrong, but they didn't ever really do much with the M20, if I remember correctly.

      I think we have a member that does custom valve covers and made one that said "Rvlimited" which is pretty cool.

        Alpina did work on m20's in e21's, the Alpina e21 C1, but I don't recall them every making valve covers for them. I believe they had their stamping or raised lettering on the air boxes instead.
