    Clutch pedal falls to floor

    Ok Guy's

Went to go work out today, got in car, it started right up. Pressed on clutch pedal and it fell to the floor and stayed there. What needs to be changed?
Might be the hose to the slave cylinder? Or the cylinder and hose?
Thanks for your help. In the meantime I will jack it up and take a look.

Ok took skid plate off and noticed that the slave cylinder was leaking out the front, hose was not leaking put should be changed do to dry rot. So I guess I need both to get back on the road? What say you?

    Thanks
    Barry

Slave cylinder or master.. Check and see if you have brake fluid on the pedal or the master itself. If so, it's bad. If not, get under the car and look at the slave (sometime they rupture with the seal in the transmission, so it might be hard to see).

Happened to me like 2 or 3 months ago. I changed master, slave and all lines. It was only the slave though but it is recommended to change both because if the master is not new it will most likely fail soon. So while you are there, plrase do both and check for the rubber line too, mine was kinda ugly. You wont regret doing all together.

Ok took off the slave cylinder it had a blown seal and was leaking. Ordered new slave and hose, although hose was pretty good shape. No oil in side car everything was dry.

        Thanks guy's for your help
