For those that have installed the "mood light"/auto dim relay for interior light !

Hi,

I tried asking in the general technical forum but didn't get much response so I'm giving another try here. I installed my auto dim delay light relay from George few days ago and it worked fine but whenever the "dim" kicked in, it would make a humming noise. (which isn't noticeable but when put in with the speaker, the noise is amplified and pretty annoying) Is it supposed to be doing that ? tried reaching george for the past several days but got no response and I really wanna finish this up so had to ask.

If it's not normal, what can I do to make the noise go away ?

Mine does no such thing. Something might be wrong but i would check the connections, make sure everything is clean, and make sure the box itself is humming.

Yeah...it is the box..I can hear a noise from the relay everytime the delay kicks in..

Yes, mine does also. It says it in the instructions.

Mine does it too. But its the relay itself. Nothing comes out from speaker. Speaker wires run from there too so maybe you have sime grounding issues? Maybe you pinched a ground while putting everything back together.
