    19lb injectors in, idle/running problems

Hey guys, just put in my 19lb injectors in. I am running the miller MAF with the chip. However, soon after putting them in my idle was really bad. i thought that was normal since it was adjusting but after driving it for 30mins it would sputter every once in a while and if i floored it at around 4k it would misfire or just sputter really bad. I got the 1221 engine code for the o2 sensor, took it out and it was black. So my question is would my problem be solved by just replacing the o2 sensor or could it be something else. Also prior to do this my car had no idle or running problems. I also changed my fuel filter at the same time but dont know if that matters. Anything info helps!

    Thanks

you have the miller maf with chip.... are you running a 19lb tune??? you can't just slap them in there and expect your part-throttle maps to run proper. you're running rich.

Well i bought them from another e30 owner who was running everything like i am. So i am assuming they are tuned to 19lb because that's what he was running. I asked him about it and he didnt mention it not being tuned to 19lb because i bought everything together. It might have just crapped on my o2 sensor, i also dont know the last time it was replaced.

I'm not sure you understood my response. If you are assuming that I was talking about the 19lb injectors being 'tuned', I was not. What tune are you running on your miller maf chip? Unless your chip is tuned for 19lb injectors, it probably thinks you still have stock injectors installed. You need to download a 19lb tune from the W.A.R. room or go have it dyno'ed and adjust the tune manually.

Oh okay, that i am not sure of but im assuming the chip is tuned for 19lbs because that;s the setup he had. Maybe since he took his out of his ecu it lost it's tune and went back to stock. I'm trying to find the w.a.r room download but the page isn't working

I would pull your plugs and see if you got a bad injector

You are going to need to email or pm Brody for access to the war room. IIRC it is closed right now.

Well i don't think so cause if it didn't work my MAF wouldnt be running right either. I think it's my o2 sensor but it might be more than that so i might upload new maps on it.
