I recently found a mint 1989 325i coupe auto for sale, 3 owner car, no rust, body 8-8.5/10, interior 10/10, all orig glass, all orig body panels (no dents)(alpine), 158,000 miles everything mechanical in working order. All stock never abused. There asking 4995 do you think it's worth it or too much? I was thinking around 4k to start with because of the higher miles and auto trans. What's your opinion?

Those miles aren't that high..I paid 3k for a similar car with a 5 speed. -

I'd expect more like 3k - but since they are asking 5 you'll be hard pressed to get them to come down to that. I bet since they are asking 5, they would but willing to take $4.5k - that's what they are thinking.
If it's been taking care of - you can always justify the extra 1.5k as stuff they've done for you - you might come out even. But in all - I'd say it's a tad too much.Comment
