Ouch, really suck to hear. I'm sure you feel like your signature atm. Really hope the insurance agent pulls through for you. Would be great to see you use the money from the car towards another and another build. Best of luck.

Sorry to see that, looked pretty sweet.

With that said, I spun out on Federal tires within the first three days I owned my car in light rain going less than 10mph around a corner. Luckily I did not hit anything but grass. Once I lowered my car, I cornered hard and one of my tires blew a cord and bubbled like an SOB..

I learned my lesson. Don't put shit tires on a car that is 20 years old with no traction control capabilities. I did everything right when I spun out, but literally had absolutely no control as if my car were on ice. Now I drive my e46 325xi in the rain for the most part.

                tl;dr: federal tires suck ass.

That sucks to see Luke. Glad you are okay though.

The PO put Federal Super Steels on and I haven't bought new ones yet since they still have 80+% tread left. I tried to drive in the snow we had here this winter too.

I think you can tell which tracks are the E30 and which are not. The poor thing couldn't get out of my driveway.
