I have an '88 325e. My A/C is not blowing cold. It looks like the A/C clutch is not engaging. I don't know much about A/C systems, so any help is appreciated. Thanks.
The most common cause of this would be a lack of refrigerant charge. If your gas leaked out the system pressure is below the threshold of your low pressure switch, thus disabling your compressor clutch.
You could rule out a faulty clutch by probing the clutch wire for voltage.
