give it a few months/years and we will all conform to it... I said the same thing about e91s, e60s, and the Z4s.... i now find myself looking at them and thinking yea, i would drive one, there not so bad compared to the newer stuff.... its a cycle that will keep on repeating.

I love when shit like this happens. I love it when peoples human side comes out. Kobe's "waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles" use, etc. I like seeing the way people react under pressure and I love to see it when they show emotion to the chagrin of those who would rather these people play/drive at their limit and show no negative emotions or intensity. Plus I like it when drivers show that competitive side to them. In the Top Gear when they celebrate the BTCC seeing the driver get overtaken and give the other driver the bird that was cool.

its not very likely we will see the 5 door in the US. there isnt much of a market for it here, hence why there are so few wagon/tourings in the lineup here for the states.

It'll be interesting to see how successful this design is in China, where bmw looks to make there money.

I dont think so. There is a market for it here. Look at Audi's A class/series for one. BMW basically is still traumatized from the resounding faliure that was the 318ti in the states so it has conceded that whole segment in the states, not realising that it was mostly the shoddy interior build quality and the weak power output people dont associate with BMW's that did them in. Since then they have sworn off "hatchbacks" and usually quote that fiasco as the reason. Even when confronted by a large outcry for them to bring these cars.
