    533i, 633cs, M6, and a 190e

    Suggestions:

    First car

This is an automatic with around 110,000 miles. This car doesn’t seem to have been in any flood. Engine condition is unknown. Some rust on the body. I am mainly interested in the AMG kit on the car, how much is it worth?? How much should I ask for the car.

    Second car

This car was recoverd from a flood. Its dirty as hell and has a flooded engine. How much are the wheel worth? He offered me 500 for the whole car and was raving how the wheels and tires are worth 1k from tirerack haha. I'd have a couple options with his car. I could keep the engine, fix it and then swap it in my car. Then I'd just sell the wheels and just scrape the car. Or just fix the car up and sell it/keep it. How hard would it be to get the engine running? I'd get help from the local M30 guy (parting his engine). Oh and the car as minimal rust

    third car

The car looks like trash and had the most rust out of all of them. Was in the flood. I'd be interisted in the motor. Looks to be the same as in the 533, but this only has 105,000 miles. Is it worth it?

    Fourth car

Just for shits and giggles. this guy said this came from flordia and has no rust. lalala he said he was offered 10,000 before!!! Freakin lier, this car is no wear near mint and had a 200K engine!! I'd imagine in that condition the car would be worth 3K at BEST! I wanted to take engine pics but couldnt find the hood release -(

So tell me what you think. I'd be picking the car(s) up on the cheap side. How much are these M30 engines worth and are they worth my time?

open the hood on the 190...

it looks like an early model 190e 2.3 16v... AKA M3 competitor.
    Below the radar...

What should I look for, its clean (IE no mud from a flood)
Its an automatic thought, did they make the 2.3 16v in autos?

Interior is decenty clean compared to the rest. If its what you think, would asking 300 be a good price?

should have "2.3 16v" or similar stamped onto the top of the valve cover.

$300 is a steal if it is indeed an "evo" and it runs/drives.
Yes, they came in auto's... and a few in sticks.

Damnit, I thought i took some pictures of the engine. well I cant ask him this over the phone since he might not know the rarity. I'll check a MB forum before I go over again. The car has some rust spots though and needs lot of things replaced to become mint.

I thought MB evo's had wide body kits.

            I thought it was the 2.5 16V?

The 190E is the only Merc I'd ever buy.

The M6 is sheer hotness and I want one badly.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

              2.3 for early models
2.5 for late Evo2 & 3 models if memory serves.

Yup, simialr to M3s. They bumped the displacement as DTM rules allowed.

yess the M6 is hot but not worth 10K in that condition.. I loveeee the interior, the backseats are crammed as fuck tho

so what do u guys think about the 533... Buy it for 300 ( I'll offer him 150 at first and see) without the wheels, and take the engine for myself. Would it be worth it..

Why don't you learn how to drive your car first? Then worry about a swap or something? How would you even do the swap by yourself?

bummer, could have been a good score.
