I say stay away from verts at all costs. But I hate verts. No offense to anyone dont get butthurt. There are beautiful ones out there there are exceptions to every rule but in general I cant get behind the point of a convertible.

Good point about the hardtop...I paid $50 more than the car for just the hardtop! It is great in the winter though!

I almost pulled the trigger on three diff autotragic verts until I finally found the one I own now at a good price with the 5 spd.....I say just be patient...

I think more then 3 times I found 5 spds with hard tops included only to be too late when the ad was posted for only like two days.....seriously just keep looking..

The Vert I own now has no hard top but I couldn't wait any longer and didn't want to pass up a good deal and to be honest not having the hard top doesn't bother me

I'm with cleanazz, I'm not a big fan of it because of the snow during winter and it's too damn hot to have the top down during the summer. I don't know how people do it, but that's not for me. But if a mtechII vert were available, that would be a different story

Since you have an ix for the winter and plan to keep it, I say go for it if it's what you really want.
