Tire shipping

What is the best route for shipping tires? UPS wants to charge $230 for four single tires. I'm thinking $15 per tire. Need something way cheaper.

I had a set shipped recently via USPS for $20 each. They just slap a label on it, no packaging necessary. It was the cheapest I found, although I admit I didn't spend much time looking.

Instead of boxing them up, just wrap them in saran wrap and ship them like that.

Before breaking into your mom's supply of saran wrap, I would goto Home Depot and buy stretch wrap.
