aside from the legal aspects of it how much does it cost to have one shipped over here? with a budget of 15k for an e30 m3 i could get an italian 320is for 7-8k with 70k miles or so....leaves plenty of room to get it imported...

it only costs about 800 dollars to ship a car, as long as its 25 years or older. got another 5 to go for my M3! but if you do come over here to get a car, make sure you know someone. the shipping port is the northern most part of germany, and the land of BMW is southern germany. so its a project alone to get it to the port. M3s really arent any cheaper over here and for the most part the weather sux here and causes alot of rust.
