    stock wheel spec is always off by 5 mph 'ish. so a bigger wheel may actually help make it more accurate-if that's what your going for

      That's what I was going to say.

      My 17" Works and SSRs were both lighter than many smaller/narrower wheels, while allowing plenty of clearance for big brakes.

      But most people aren't spending that kind of change on wheels.

        The effects of a larger wheel would be how youre visually/emotionally impacted.

        The affects of a larger wheel would be the threads content or how its going the physically impact the camber/spedo/safety.
