tell me about these wheels... (OZ vega?/MSW?)

    what i know for fact...
    -stamped OZ racing
    -stamped MOD-02BW2
    -wheels are 16"
-they were previously on an old euro E28

    what im 90% sure of...
-i think they are 3 piece (havent gotten the tire off yet)
-face looks sized for a 15" wheel and lip is stepped to a 16"
-center caps were swapped for these flat caps
-i think they are 8" wide... again i dont have the tire off so i cant measure.

    what i dont know...
    -what these came on stock
    -value
-what exactly im looking at model wise

any insight on these would be awesome!

    pics-

    the wheel

the only model stamping on the wheel... google turned up nothing.

caps are dated '94... wheels are dated '86

those fat lips will def be polished!

thanks for the links, but im not thinking they are an specifically an E28 wheel... they were just previously being run on an E28 letting me know the bolt pattern and bore is BMW. most likely an aftermarket wheel, but i cant find much info on it.

They are front corvette wheels from the mid 80's. I have the 9.5" wide version all around on my e36

i have a staggered set (7.5"/8.5") so i dont think they're fronts... im also pretty sure they are true 5x120 not the 5x120.whatever

                  ...definitely the same style though.

i see youre not running you caps, got waffled caps you wanna unload?

sidenote: wheels look good BTW, is thats an actual M ? i cant see them clearing M front calipers looking at these wheels that i have.

these are 16"s but the faces look like 15" wheel faces... are all the faces the same size and just the lips are 15" or 16"?

and yeah i was aware parts were going to be hard to find, but damn $400 for caps is crazy!

Doesn't look like an M3. Don't 2doors have the twisty skirts?

Wheels look cool, waffle centers would definitely make them look better though.

ah good eye... has an M bumper and badged side moldings.

i didnt think there was a way these wheels would clear M brakes.

                            found this older thread.

BBS also did the same thing. 15 and 16" had the same centers, as the 17 and 18" also

I would say they were oem on NO vehicles.

So, are these the RS 178 model? I got this model and are made for corvette. I got them in 17x9,5 all arround as well but had to change the inner barrel to get 17x8 and that way will let me turn y steering.:D

It uses "vertical wide" lips instead of the wide horizontal like the 212/ 197 models (huge lips) so the centers are 16".
