If you can't get complete records or pay someone to inspect it be carfull, the one i was going to buy had a small oil leak, drove it to a shop HARD, come to find out it was full of 70W engine oil, Lucas Oil Stabilizer and once really heated up oil pan gasket, another engine gasket was leaking, control arms shot, rack shot, compression on one cyl. was bad, I almost paid $5k and it would of cost me $4K to fix and hope the one cyl. wasn't hurt.

has the run/drive garantee, i'd buy it as long as it was less than 2k.

are you buying it to keep or to make money?

dont bid on it until the auction starts, you will only make it cost more.
anyway, like i said, you can register on the site, cheap to do it, just need to give a few hundred dollar deposit, which gets refunded to you if you dont buy anything.

That car will go for at least 5 grand. I think it was posted up by the owner with a reserve somewhere around 8000 but it didn't meet reserve the first time. That's what I hate about copart, anyone can throw their car and you'll never know of the problems until it's in your possession.

i like copart. i've seen m3's go for under 1500 wrecked and around 2-2500 for running/driving.
totally insane, it really does vary car to car.

see where the bidding goes. wait until the last 10 minutes to jump in. just be ready to back off, dont get sucked in, give yourself a set amount you can afford.
