Replacing steering coupler (flex disk)

Hey guys I have a 1990 e30. After looking around there's some differences that, at least to my knowledge, not too many people address here. AND I haven't found a DIY to replace the stock steering coupler with a new one. So if I get enough guidance to complete the job I'll pay it forward by posting up a DIY in the DIY section with some pics.

I'm at the end of doing my z3 steering rack swap:
(got the e36 tie rod ends in finally, after a little miscommunication I've got the last two hex nuts on the way, thanks again Blunt tech!!)
I know this is supposed to be a MAXIMUM two day job but work and other stuff kept stopping me.

I'm at the point where everything is ready to go in I just need to replace the stock flex disk with an aftermarket one I got from Ireland Engineering. Here's some pics, any suggestions or help? Do I just grind the bolts off and replace them with whatever?

i also haven't opened it because I've heard some people say that the IE steering coupler doesn't fit. If this is true I'll just try and return it.

I have done it. Dremel and other cutting implements. You have to cut the Rivet dealy then press them out. They fit just takes some force.

ok cool and I'm assuming I would just find whatever bolts fit from lowe's or something?

it only came with the nuts, no bolts or nothing.
