There's a red 153-154?? something for an ix, i think theres' a list in the Bently just can't find it, again is it you can't read the #'s, fitting, What are you trying to do?????? the older ones only have 35 pins 1.1, the newer ones have 55 3 rows of pins, 1.3, thinner red ones are E34+ obdI. A blue IX, i wonder if the IX ECU's have a torqueier?? map for the 4 wh drive, never had one to play withComment

The reason im asking is because i recently did an engine swap and it came with a red label ECU. i have a 1990 325i convertible and it has a yellow ECU so i was wondering what the difference between them was. i dont know what you mean by look at the numbers on them...Originally posted by TimR View Postsigpic

There a 2X3 colored sticker on the ECU with these #'s 0 261 200 + one of these last three #'s 150,154, 173, 380 + the ones mentioned above off the 325I/IX. yellow vert ECU is the 380. Pictures might help, as long as its not green or pink label with 021-027 and a 325I M20 they both should work. The 173 one has the best stock set up.Comment
