    OBC question

If you install a new OBC in your car, is it necessary to switch the existing coding plug?
    Thanks

If you mean the obcs coding plug in the back of it, if should be specific for your model, i mean 325, 318, 320 etc... So if you dont know which car tye new obc came from, check the part number on the config plug and google it. If your certain that your old obc was specific to your car model then switch them. I hope i helped.

Ok so the one I purchased is from an 1987 e28, so that means I should change it out and install my original, is that correct.
      Hey thanks for your help
