    would you trade your late-model 325is (m20) for an e28 m5?

    assume both cars are clean, reasonably well-sorted (they need very little) and you need to add very little (if any) cash on top of the e30.

          Yep, I would trade it pluck the motor and drop it into my backup e30! Duh!

          Then for shits and giggles I would drop a M70 or M73 in the M5

                                                      No way. I bought an e28 thinking I would love it. Was not the case. I hated the oversized feel of the car, and couldnt wait to get back into my e30. Just not the same. The straight line speed wasnt enough to sway me. Now sticking an s38 into an e30, different story.
