makng 500 hp for 2k

alright i have some guys that seem to have the american muscle V8 shoved up there asses and im wondering what i should do to make 500 hp with 2 grand of course boost but how should i go about this...

also how much would i be looking at to make it reliable..

oh yea M52B28 and i have 2 or 3 M50 blocks.

BTW you dont have to prove anything to anyone, but a 350HP E30 probably has the same power to weight as those 500HP muscle dudes...maybe.

lol im not worried about racing anyone i jus wanna show that a BMW can easily get 500 hp hell ive seen cars with dyno sheets running 15.1 pounds making 435

lol thats why i started this to see what some people have and to figure out about how much it will cost. hell ive got extra blocks laying around i can build while i still drive my car :D

i think for a good turbo setup on an m20 you would need more than 2k..and we already know a turbo for an 24v is gonna cost more

2 grand seems a little low for a proper 450+hp m52. I mean unless your gonna do all the work yourself with used parts, your easily looking at more than 2 grand for parts alone. I mean think about it, a cheap bay turbo goes for close to a grand

oh yea i can do all the work thats not a problem lol so i would be looking somewhere around 3500-7k then yea?

find friends with spare parts. used MS and wideband, cheap turbo, rebuild with brand parts. tune tune tune.

american muscle has it hands down when it comes to cheap reliable power.

Easier thing is just swap in an LS1 or 2 and call it a day, They can be had for 800-1000 these days

yea i kno american muscle has it for cheap power but not so much reliable. my buddy has blown up his mustang twice since ive been swapped and my M52 just takes the beating i give it EVERY day lol
