Since I moved down to San Diego, I hooked up with this band called Maren Parusel. actually the singer's name. Pretty good stuff. Pop songs with a high energy band behind her. We're touring the enitre country from July 5 through August 7. Come out if you can! Say hello to me and tell me you're from r3v. I'd love to meet some of you in person and check out your e30's outside the clubs!

I am near Durham nc, and motorco is a very cool place. It's an old auto dealership from the 40's or 50's....very neat space with cool staff.

Rig changes per project. For this particular band, I'm flagshipping my Telecaster Mutt. (1986 Jap Fernandes Tele body w/ 1957 Fender Esquire neck), and as my backup I'm using an '84 Jap Strat.
I run it through a fairly basic pedal board....mostly Bosses, but I have 2 Tubescreamers in chain. One for a little bluesy boost, another for standard distortion, and both when I need to murder people's eardrums.
For the amp, I'm using a loaner for the first half of the tour. Fender Twin, not sure what year or model, but I believe it's a later blackface re-issue. I'll be using my own tubes, custom Sovtek 6L6's. Then when we get to NYC, I'm going to get my sweet baby out of my storage unit and use that the rest of the way home. '67 Fender Bandmaster.

I am looking forward to Durham. I hear it's a cool town, and my girl tells me we need to eat at a place called Elmo's? Anyway, I'm also proud we chose Durham over Raleigh. It makes us that much cooler.
