    ssk on an ix

So I want to do the z3 1.9 on my 325ix but I wanted to know if there was going to be a problem making it fit cause its an ix. Anyone know?

theres only 2 that will fit on the ix, otherwise the transfer case gets in the way and it rubs, i know from experience.

get the z4 2.5, its the shortest (not as short throw as the 3.0) but it will fit on the ix no problem.

I dont want a whole lot of effort in shifting motion. What was the other one?

there isnt much effort, its a shorther throw than the stock one.

the other one is one of the z3 ones, i cant remember which there was a diagram with all the shifter rods but I cant find it right now.

just make sure the portion of the shifter below the ball isnt too long, thats what shortens throw but on the ix thats what gives you the problem.

cool man Ill go with the shorter of the z3 ones. I also dont want to fuck around with bending the rod and whatnot. I want a nice easy install. Ill talk to BMA and see what they say as well

UUC makes an EVO3 SSK for the e30 325iX and it's sweet as hell. Got one for my sister for a christmas present last year. It's pricey, but damn, it feels soo good. Nice crisp short throws, not notchy at all, super smooth action and feel. Waited for 3 months to get it though. I've always liked UUC's stuff, but their service sucks monkey nuts. I don't know why I keep going back.
