    If you did in fack bend the front subframe I'll sell you one used for $40. I doubt you did either as one of my parts cars was T-boned going about 40 mph and then went head on into a wall on the passenger corner, the Main frame rail was pushed back 6 inches then the other frame rail and nO subframe damage was cuased from it.

      I went to the shop last night and they had my car up on the lift. The mechanic showed me where the subframe was infact bent.

      The place I took my car to is an independent BMW only shop called Eastisde BMW. There was an article about them in the local BMWCCA club magazine, and so far I've heard nothing but good things about them...

      edit: and thanks for the offer for selling me a subframe but I already picked one up at a wrecking yard for a fairly good price

        Last night I was going up a nearby mountain road and my steering wheel had a really light feel to it.I though "WTF?!? What s wrong now?!?" but a moment later I felt the back end sliding in 3rd gear at around 3000rpm (!).It was ice... ;)
