P2P - WinMX seems dead...what do you use?

I use to be able to get some good stuff on WinMX but recently it's gone downhill.

What Peer-to-peer file sharing programs are you guys using? - I'm looking for something without spyware, ect...

Anyone having good luck with WinMX?

BTW - I'm on cable, so I have a speady connection...

      WRONG

I use Bit Torrent for everything except MP3's

Bit Torrent is without a doubt the best P2P app there is, no ifs ands or buts about it.

If you don't know what Bit Torrent is, you're a nOOb

Yeah, Bit Torrent is good, doesnt seem as user friendly as WinMX, or Kazaa, but it does have a great selection of stuff. Ive had times where Bit Torrent was extremely slow though. As far as WinMX is concerned, it is probably slowing down cause of all the RIAA stuff.

It has been a while since I've dl'ed any mp3s, and am curious to see what everyone is using now. I highly doubt everyone is rushing over to the "pay to dl" sites like Napster. If you do want to go this way, I think I read somewhere that Napster is 99c a song, and has the greatest user base/selection of music as far as "pay to dl" apps are concerned.

I just tried to DL bit torrent and I don't know what the fuck is going on. In the folder there is some app that downloads more stuff I assume named: btdownloadgui. But I keep getting some error and a huge list of stuff. How am I supposed to get this program to work?

Then what do you use for MP3's, Jordan? I'm in the same boat as these guys, I can never get shit from WinMX. Everything just times out, or gets aborted. It's lame. I've been using KazaaLite for a year now, and never had any problems. I don't share (upload anything) and I don't download to my "shared folder". I have everything re-routed to another folder on my HD.

I use WinMX for mp3s, but use Emule Plus for P2P.
Sic as el' love it a lot more than bit torrent, bit torrent
seems to have more files but ed2k and clones seem
to go faster, but I have a huge cred score since I leave
my puter on for months at a time.

                  I use oDC

                  Direct Connect,
I have access to about 9000 hubs wtih average 500 people on each,
and average sharing per user is 30GB so that alone is = 135000000GB

In estimate there are about 100.000 hubs over the world,

Some hubs are categorized, like only MP3´s or only Rock, or only porn, or only movies,

If I didn´t have to pay for foreign download I could basically download every single video file ever put on the internet, and every movie ever digitized, every song ever made, well you get the picture,
