So my daughter was going to pick up some dinner in our Durango. 2 minutes later she's in my room, crying hysterically. Both my wife and I said in unison 'what's wrong?!'

She replied 'I just hit dad's car!'

Fugggg!!

She backed the Durango into the driver's side rear quarter panel.



The car sure wasn't perfect, but didn't have anywhere near this kind of damage on it. Spoke to Levent at Guten Parts (and emailed him this pic). He seemed to think a couple hundred bucks spent with a paintless dent removal dude could make this look pretty good, but that it would need a paint job to be perfect.

Second opinoins? I sure hope he's right! And, he usually is...
Anyone here have similar impacts who can share repair costs?

yeah a few hundred dollars and some paint will take care of that. my friend just had almost the same kind of damage fixed on his 318is and you can not tell it ever happened. do you have deductible?

Not too bad, could have been worse. I'm the most cautious fuck ever backing my car up anywhere. I actually refuse to park on block corners cause I feel a drunk driver is going to cut the corner way too short and hit my car haha.

A PDR guy can get the majority of that out, but the crease on the wheel arch won't come out completely.

It will need proper body work and paint to be 100%, but a few hundred and a PDR guy ought to be able to get it looking better.

Kinda what I thought. I'll be calling a PDR guy this week. Sucks because I set up an E30 meet for this coming Saturday. Car was just starting to get good :(

Yep, Levent is da MAN as far as I'm concerned. Won't work with anyone else but him.

After I get the dent situation taken car of, Levent will be getting more of my paychecks for the start of my S50 swap :D
