This is one of my favorite M's. Only thing better would be an evo e30 m. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the series is what the 3 series should be. Cars are just getting too fucking big.

Technically, it already is. Maybe not in a straight line, but it's been proven on a track.

For the price of a 1M. I would buy a 135i, and do a bunch of bolt-ons. A chip makes about 30+ hp. So a few other things and your way passed were the 1M is and with some $$$ let over. (Maybe)

We have already sold a 135i customer all of the suspension parts to convert over to the 1M specs. I priced out the body panels just to see what it would cost, and yes you would be cheaper if you bought a used 135i for low blue book and added all of the pieces that would make up the performace side of the 1M. Btw did you guys see the one dealer in California ( I think it was Pacific BMW) with the $40,000 mark up! That's Z8 markup back in the heyday when stocks were good and people had money to blow.

The 1M is growing on me, not the crap orange though. Would own one in the future, but if they're really that limited, the price won't crash down to like E36 M3 territory.

im sold by the top gear review because jeremy doesnt usually like any car without really giving his best thrashing on it. and he basically said there werent anything wrong with the 1M.

the orange is awful though, they really shouldve used a classic color to market the 1M. Imola Red, Alpine White, Laguna Seca Blue, anything besides that awful Orange. also im not too fond with the M car styling in the past 5-6 years. bumpers look hideous. other than those 2 things, i think the car is very top notch and e30 m3 like.
