update on the turbo e30 deal.....

I posted a thread on a possible turbo swapped e30 purchase. I posted the thread to see if anyone here new of the build or recognized the car. After some helpful post, the decision was made to purchase the car the following Saturday. Well I guess someone wanted the car more than me and got there before I could. A little bummed so the quest was on for something to satisfy my needs.

This is the e30 that slipped by that was going for $5900.......

And here is what I bought instead, 1986 Porsche 944 (NA) originally from Florida. Very clean inside and out and very well maintained. The A/C still blows ice cold. I payed only $2500 for this fine piece of German engineering.
This will see many test and tune track days very soon........

Nice looking car, been looking for one myself. If I found one that nice for $2500, I'd buy it.

I was actually looking at a local gold? 944 but it had major work needed luckily my e30 popped up shortly after lol.

      Although I still secretly do want a P-car ;)

Well, I'd rather take my girl out in the Porsche that's for sure.
        Nice pick up!

Thank's for the replies, I'm really surprised at how easily this four cylinder moves this car. It really loves and come alive in higher RPM's. The handles are just amazing. I've been taking corners really hard trying to kick the back out with little success. Funny how the engines is in front and trans is in the rear. Perfect ratio!
