Put my Girl's X5 to work today...

I found a good deal on a low mileage engine for one of my other cars but it was a couple states away, and i don't have a truck that currently runs. So i borrowed my girls 4.4 X5 and hit the road. I have not really bonded with this machine and was unsure how it would handle being used as a truck. I am actually pretty impressed how well it ate the miles up both unloaded and loaded. I still don't love it, but we are getting along better now.


On the road




Unloading at home, notice the ride height is normal even with a heavy load. Fancy suspension.

The x5 isn't terrible. I have never driven one, but I really like them when they have the 305's on the back!

Look like an 04-06 4.4 V8 with Sport Package. Same truck my wife has. I don't love it but it is awesome to drive it around :)

Nice. I see alot of x5s at work that are just rich peoples grocery getters, it's about time to see one actually working. Single or dual air suspension?
