Looking for the best sport driving seats, something that holds you tight but you still have a ton of comfort. I run evo 2's for daily and they aren't working too well... back problems. I need something sporty that looks great with a cage.

Stock sport seats are great, I would only switch mine out for track use. Heck, I keep a few spares in the garage just to kick it in when taking a break from wrenching or sometimes when grilling out. Tighter bolsters than vaders, and definitely more comfortable on longer trips.88 325is - S52 powered

You are not getting a cage, are you? You are buying a bolt in bar, which is a totally different story.

Because you are treating it like a Civic. Most BMW people don't like people doing things to give them a bad image, like wealthy black people being pissed about thugs carjacking people, yakno?
And I'm treating it like a civic? I feel as if I've progressed from what it used to be when I first had it. ( tinted tail lights, black wheels, JDM seats, jacked up engine and more ). I feel like most of the bmw guys want everyone to be the same, I'm so sick of it. It just feels like everyone needs to have the same wheels, same interior, all the original stuff. I love being different, that's just how I am. Having a half cage in my car seems like it could only get better from there as far as for track days and fun street use.
I understand where you are coming from, but in the end it's my car and I want to just do what I please... not what others want, and even if other people don't like it it's still my car.

It's really simple. If you get a roll bar, you want either fixed back seats or reclining seats with mechanisms that won't fail in an impact (I've seen it happen with Recaro SRDs, seat folded flat). Best bet is stock or Sparco/Recaro/similar quality level recliners.
The issue isn't trying to fit all cars in the same mod mold, the issue is one of basic safety. A roll bar is a bunch of metal behind your head. In an accident, you WILL get thrown about the cabin, so you want a seat that will not fail outright and let you fly around the cabin. Stock seats pass crash testing to prove they will not fail in impacts, almost NO "tuner" level recliner seats are subject to the same testing. Fixed back seats yes, non-oem recliners no.
I love my Evo2 Plus, thing is really comfy for me. Does your seat not fit you right?

I bought a few pillows to try out and I have this weird angle that pinches a nerve in my leg/lower back. I've been playing around with a few things lately and my old seats did the same thing. I tried driving with my foot at a different angle and it helped, but I only get the pain in an e30, when I drive anything else it goes away. I might just try something with lumbar, I love my seats to death they are just a pain to get in and out of every day.
