I say the money you're going to spend in spray paint for the wheels. You could atleast buy a set of kidneys for it...

I think it really depends on what you plan to do with the car. Is it a keeper that you plan to restore, or just a junker/beater that you don't give a shit about?

If it were my car, I would paint the wheels silver and just go with the OEM look. Silver will not take away from the look of your car, and is a good base to build off if you decide to restore it or keep around as a spare set if you do get other wheels eventually.

You can buy the black moldings (from a late model) and put them on. You'll probably want to buy some new clips as I hear they break easily.

Honestly, just keep saving until you can do something that matters and do something for the cleanliness of your car.

I'm sure there are other things you could do, like take apart your interior and clean it? Clean the engine bay? Fix up some loose ends? wash/polish/wax?

if i could, i would in a heart beat, but im just thinking if im going to be down there anyway, why not? its just a $30 DIY and way to kill and afternoon and reason to break open some brew. PLUS unless someone is gonna contribute some weaves to the "im broke as hell" fund then i dont think its going to happen.

and whats wrong with my hood? it keeps the rain out ;)

Just leave 'em. Do you really think it matters one way or the other? It just looks like you're trying too hard to be serious with black bottle caps. If it's a joke then go for it. I'd rather see pink than black.
