    Seized Shock

I was driving over some speed bumps and when my car went down the bump, my passenger shock froze in the highest possible setting of my suspension. now my car looks stupid as shit since i'm pretty low everywhere else. What are my options? is there anyway to fix it without buying a new shock/sending it out to bilstein? Thanks.

    lol, can't turn?
Once a shock seizes it's a goner. Some folks have revived them but I wouldn't take the risk. Order up a new pair

Damn yo the Drivers side is fresh as hell.

On another note, when I was trying to take apart the suspension assembly with the strut and shock and stuff, I gave up halfway cause I couldn't compress the strut, but when I put everything back together, the strut bearing mounts studs (The three studs that connect to the shock tower) were loose. Not the nut that attaches to them, but the actual stud is loose and just there freely. Is this a worry? Should I be sketched the fuck out?

I had one of my rears freeze on a steep driveway I was taking at an angle once. I ended up jacking the E30 up and it was fine once I let it down. However it's a goner, it's leaking fluid.

if I can remember, those studs are only mechanically welded in so if you can find a way to keep them from spinning as you tighten then you should be good. I'm not very sure though but I do remember having the same problem. My solution to it was just ordering new mounts.

I wouldn't drive on it though. It will give you shaky steering.

You need to get those tight. They are pressed in there and have splines.
Sometimes when all else fails I use an impact but youll snap them off if youre not careful. If something is spinning and I cant get to the back side a few quick pulls on the impact trigger will most times work. But remember those are small and will snap easily
