    Correct Radiator? ;(.

    Fellow Enthusiasts:

Ordered a new radiator from 1800-Radiator this afternoon and they delivered the one below. I'm thinking this is for an Automatic transmission because it has 2 extra plug areas on the side. I specifically asked it to be for a 5Sp, and that's what they sent me. Is there some sort of plug that can be used to seal these, or should I just order a replacement?

Oh, if someone has a spare bolt for the left side of the timing belt cover, the one that goes under the distributor cap, I need it. I'll pay the .42 cents for shipping.

    Thanks in advance.

You can use it and it wont cause any problems.

Thanks, what do I use to seal those red plugs on the side? The one I had in before didn't have them, it was just smooth there. The red things are just plastic pieces that prolly won't hold pressure. What they are covering is copper threads.

Some manufacturers only sell 'em with the taps so they don't have to make two types. Just keep them plugged and forget they exist.

That part of the cooler is separate from the coolant. If you had auto, the transmission fluid would flow through, not the coolant/water that cools the engine.
So no pressure on your setup.
