    Quick question

    Was there a 1992 325i with an m20 engine?

Reason I ask is because I ordered some parts from a company and they gave me a water pump and a oil filter that are for M20 engines after I selected my vehicle as a '92 325i (to match my NV m50) which I thought was a year that only had m50.

    Thanks,
    Aaron

NV M50 in the US models - the m20, I believe, was only available in 92' in the EDM cars

if its an E30 its a M20, if its an E36 then its a M50. they were building E36 cars in 91 already, but carried the E30 touring and vert till 94 (which had the M20 still)

Thanks for the posts. The 'Car Selection' only specified the make, year and model (325i in this case). I now have a water pump and oil filter for an M20 when I need one for the M50. Build date is fast approaching and this really sucks balls. I have to wait until Monday to talk to someone.
