    anyone use mp39?

sorry i think they took out the hvac subforum.
anyway my car has r12 and i heard that mp39 is the new replacement?
i read on it online and it is mostly used for walk in fridge and stuff like that. then i read some guy recharged a costumers ac with mp39 and said there was no problem.
ao my question is has anyone done it? used it? recommemd it? not recomend?

    thanks r3v

    link?

there's usually a little more to it than just changing refrigerant to an HVAC system. I don't know much about cars but in houses when we change a customer from R22 to 410-A the compressor, line set, and both coils are usually changed.

The current refrigerant for cars is R134A.

i was talking to a friends dad that does house ac. it started with asking him if he can get r12. i just hear r134a is weak on e30s maybe because its not as effecient so it would need a bigger compressor?

MP39 is a direct drop for r12. Another gas to use is Hotshort[R402b].
