Anybody else have trouble closing their glovebox?

Its an E30 thing.
You live with it.
Like the hot supermodel gf who grosses you out sometimes.
You forget about it later...
Never force the glovebox, ive found its best to push up as you try to open it, also put less shit in there, and your life will be much happier.

Is it like an inch away from closing and just won't pull far enough?
My guess is that you have the gold mounting bar thing upside-down or reversed. That will cause it to not close, but when mounted it will look normal opened.

It is not even an issue of adjustment for me--I've tried everything. I've gone through two gloveboxes and two dashes, and they just don't want to close. So I am thinking there is something awry with the mounting.

I have had this problem for as long as I can remember, but recently I have been working on cleaning up the interior and it's bugging the hell out of me.
