Anybody else have trouble closing their glovebox?

Mine was always difficult to close, seemed like the latch was off to one side a little bit. I tried adjusting it and it fixed it for a little bit.

The upper catch just recently broke and I replaced it and now it closes great. I think maybe one side was always broken and that's why it always closed funny.

mine won't close easily cause the damn 12 foot long USB cable connected to my ECU is in the way :(

Make a small notch the side of the damn glovebox you guy.

oh don't worry, i bought one of those fancy retractable USB cables online. Cleans up the clutter in my glovebox a lot and no need for cutting :D

My closes, and locks... its just it is hard to lign to close.

Eh, mine closes with a little tough love. You get used to it. At least it doesn't sag when closed like e36 glove boxes.

They can be adjusted at the bottom (where it mounts to the firewall)

Is it like an inch away from closing and just won't pull far enough?
My guess is that you have the gold mounting bar thing upside-down or reversed. That will cause it to not close, but when mounted it will look normal opened.

Mine looks great when closed, but I just have to use a nice firm closing motion to get it to work.
