    Was this really a factory authorized custom? Is it worth what this guy is asking?

    no, there was no "factory authorized" pickup truck conversion. there were several e30s modified into pickup trucks used as parts runners inside the factories.

    No way it's worth 17k, esp. if it looks like that.

                It would be coolto have just to smash in and have people be like WTF. But that hood art looks awful and the front grills and such. 17k is way to steep I wouldn't pay more than 3k for it
