OBC question

Hey Guy's

Can you put a 13 button E-28 1987 OBC in a 1988 325is? If so do you need to use the chip from the 1988?

I just tried the same thing. The obc and the turn signal stalk will work, but youll need a e30 harness for it to work

Everything works except my MPG, MPH, and Range, the range will show the amount of gas but does not count down ligitimately.
The date works, time works, temperature works, flashers work, never did try my cruise control?

Oh and my set button seems to be paralized..
