Put 2-3 gallons of Toulene in your fuel tank, see what a difference it makes. I promise you it WILL stop the pinging.Tenured Automotive Service Professional - Avid BMW Enthusiast

Textbook curves between 3500 and 6300. Max power don't mean shit to realists if the curves don't grow nice and linear like yours.
Laughable is a highRev2ner putting out a max 240hp with a sharp fat spike just before the limiter.
Again, good jobDon't forget the good things Hitler did.Comment

Thanks guys :D
Bill, you da man!
Jordan, explain to me how that works, I am curious.
Matt, the car has stock exhaust manifolds and downpipes, but its got 3" piping from then on, and I have a Borla XR-1 race muffler as a catalyst replacement and a Borla Turbo muffler as the exit muffler. It sounds mean  All due to the help of Apex Engineering, who gave me solid advice on which exhaust to go with and got the parts to me promptly! Thanks Apex!!

What does that RWHP translate into CRANK HP?

good god Ted, that Dyno sheet and numbers are SICK!
have you tracked you 3.0L since these upgrades?? that torque curve must be a blast to drive on!
my guess on his crank HP and Torque would be 227HP and 234Ft-lbs......figuring 18% drivetrain loss.......SICK SICK SICK :shock:Comment

..what diff are you running again? Any future plans for stand alone or some other work to get you some more hp and tq ?
Your stroker is the nicest and most potent to date thats readily proven and not guesstimatet
One day I hope to get to your level of power...

You put like a standalone system in there and you'll be pulling stock S50 numbers... :!: You already have more peak torque.

rwh- yes I've tracked it since the stroker and man, it's damn fast!
e9nine- I've got a 3.73 LSD that I plan on modifying to 60% lock-up, becaust as of right now it lights the inside tire exiting tight corners
Thanks a lot guys! I feel I've built it the way it should be built, and I'm happy with the numbers.....for now :D (The intake is stock too, I'm eventually looking to run a Split Second MAF conversion)

..with your powerband have you considered a slightly longer geared diff? I have forgotten the other diffs that fit but I would think a diff between a 2.93 and 3.73 range should do you good no? Granted your 0-60 is very strong now it might suffer a bit but I know for sure that a 3.73 with the power you're putting out is SICKK but a lil too short...

I have thought about doing a custom 3.46, as 1st and 2nd gears go by awfully fast. We'll see where I end up, but with the 3.73 I don't find myself wanting anything else. Then again I haven't driven anything else, now you've got me thinking

3.46 is the ratio I wasn't sure of but wanted to have you consider...2.93 is too long...2.93 is good for turbo applications though :)
I have a vehicle compared to your machine but in my stock 2.7iS I tried it with the stock 2.93 and then 3.73 which is in it now since its the best option now. I will eventually go to a 3.46 for sure when all is said and done, the 2.93 was fun to use in 2nd and 3rd gear the most but my powerband is not the best for its application...5th gear was useless.

Very nice Ted! Very nice indeed!! If I could just put some miles on my engine, I'd be able to let ya know how the Unichip piggyback does on our engines......but I'm only at 1300km's...........1700km's to go :(
