    Just Checking in

    New to r3vlimited, but not to BMWs. Been a enthusiast since I was a teenager (44 now). I have had 3 BMW models, a 77 320i, my 06 330i e90 (Euro Delivery :D), and just picked up a 1990 325i.

My main interests are Cars and Aviation; I am a Flight Engineer by trade and a Private Pilot. My main cars interests have been BMWs of course and old Pontiacs.

I have no Pontiacs at the moment, but a whole bunch of 75 and 77 Formula Firebird parts.

              I've owned 4 2nd Gen Firebirds, a 63 Lemans, 84 Grand Prix and a 97 Sunfire GT.

                Wow.
That's coming from left field right there. A BMW Enthusiast with a love for old GM cars, to own a 97 SUNFIRE?!

I do apologize good sir, but I'm sorry you had to own a sunfire...

Actually I loved that Sunfire GT. The base models were awful as we found out, but drove the GT and bought it new as our family cars. Probably best bang for the buck in its class. Sadly it doesn't exsist anymore. Gave it to my son for HS graduation and the day before he started college at Virginia Tech he rolled it on an unfamilar mountain road. He walked away from it a bit sore, car roof though crushed into the steering wheel.

Now looking to put my daughter in something like a tank.
